Review: Cleverly organised to stress the words rather than the action with enormous opaque screens as virtually the only set. He keeps the piece moving rapidly without any real changes of set, with the exception of one excellent orgy scene on board ship. There is no spectacles or battles. This simplicity works up to a point but a little spectacle might have made it less long and dreary. Excellent use of music and lighting and some dedicated playing could not give it theatrical fire for me.
